Standard-Fastening Set 8 K ESD

Standard-Fastening Set 8 K ESD from item joins two Line 8 profiles at a right angle. The plastic spacer takes up minimal space in the grooves, which are left free on all sides. The special screw breaks through the insulating anodized surface covering to facilitate an ESD-safe contact between the profiles. A thread needs to be tapped into the core bore of the first profile to install the fastener. The second profile requires an installation bore and is connected in a fixed position. Please note the load-carrying capacity, which is different to that of Standard-Fastening Set 8.

Compared to other fasteners, Standard Fasteners protrude into the groove to a minimal extent only. Standard-Fastening Set 8 features a double-sided anti-torsion feature as standard, but is also available in variants that have either a connecting plate that is shortened on one side or a compact centring aid (K). The variants leave one or both grooves of the aluminium profiles free. Standard-Fastening Sets 8 are also available in an ESD-safe design to help dissipate electrostatic charges.
