Step Profile 8 160 The narrow Step Profile 8 160 with a ridged surface provides a secure footing. It exhibits no discernible profile deflection, even when used to build wide steps. All the screws and nuts in Step Profile Bracket Set 8 160 are covered and hidden from users’ view. The tread surface of Step Profile 8 160 is perfect for stepladders with a 60° pitch. On stairways with a 30° or 38° pitch, two Step Profiles are connected together to form one deep tread and installed together using Step Profile Bracket Set 8 320. The two 5 mm-wide fastening brackets on a step must be taken into account when calculating the overall width. Step Profiles 8 160 can also be used in lengths of up to 6000 mm to build platforms. When used on platforms, they are laid out as panels in Frame Profile 8 120x40 light, meaning that no additional brackets need to be taken into account.
