Quick Coupler 8, Release Unit 40x28 is one of the system components of item Quick Coupler 8 (0.0.731.92), which helps position mobile solutions correctly in relation to profile frames or work benches and hold them in place. The stainless steel pin of the release unit engages with Quick Coupler 8, Receiver 40x28 (0.0.730.06). This spring-loaded pin can be disengaged either by actuating the manual lever or via a Bowden cable in order to release the mobile unit.
Quick Coupler 8 is the ideal connection solution for mobile applications in industry. It creates a dependable link with different mobile units, such as when transferring goods between workstations and mobile elements. This makes intralogistics processes more efficient and flexible. The engagement of the Quick Coupler’s release unit ensures that the mobile solution ends up in the right position. The trolley is also held in place and is unable to roll away due to this mechanical connection.
The Quick Coupler is disengaged by retracting the stainless steel pin. Pressing the red lever operates the spring-loaded pin of the release unit to break the connection and allow the mobile solution to be moved again. The release unit can also be actuated via a Bowden cable to reliably disconnect the coupled systems. To ensure elements are correctly positioned, two release units and two receivers should be installed.
