Quick to position, quick to secure! Profile Holder Set 8 St 40x40 is the ideal solution for making sure the height of shelves and stops can be quickly adjusted. These fasteners are used to install a Profile 8 40x40 between two Line 8 profiles in a torsionally rigid, right-angled connection. As the two fastening screws for the Double T-Slot Nut can still be accessed after installation, the location of the profile can be adjusted along the groove without having to remove the component. This makes the solution perfect for building adjustable racks. The Profile Holders are supplied in sets of two and are secured to the core bore at either end face of a profile using the Countersunk Screws M8 included in the scope of supply. An M8 thread needs to be tapped into either end of the core bore on the profile for this purpose. Profile Holder 8 St 40x40 is not suitable for connecting profiles at just one end.
Note: When calculating profile length, please factor in the 5 mm thickness of each connecting plate. We recommend deducting 10.6 mm from the length of the profile so the profile moves easily when the screws are loosened.
