Castor D50 swivel with brake, heavy-duty combines a small wheel diameter with a high load-carrying capacity of 150 kg per Castor. The Castor is also available without a brake (0.0.714.30).
The effective load-carrying capacity of the Castor depends on its conditions of use. The highest load-carrying capacity is achieved when the wheel is travelling at walking speed (max. 3 km/h) over a smooth and level surface.
The Castor can be fastened to the groove or end-face of a profile. When mounted to the end-face, a suitable thread will need to be tapped into the core bore of the profile.
Alternatively, it can be fastened in place using a Base Plate. A Base Plate also needs to be used when fastening the Castor to the groove of a profile (if necessary, make up thread lengths with Washers DIN 125).
