ESD-safe Castor D125 fixed PU 140x110 FS ESD has a connecting plate that measures 140x110 mm and a robust metal housing made of bright zinc-plated steel. Load-carrying capacity is 350 kg per castor. This castor measures 125 mm in diameter and features rigid foot protection. Stable ball bearings and wheel bodies made of die-cast aluminium ensure a long service life.
The effective load-carrying capacity and dissipative capacity of a castor depend on its conditions of use. Product characteristics are stated in relation to use at the stated speed on a smooth, level indoor surface. Note: Factor in sufficient load-carrying capacity when selecting castors. For safety reasons, ensure that the total load can be carried on three castors.
item swivel and fixed castors are available with two types of foot protection – a spring-type design (FG) and a rigid metal frame (FS). These guards stop a foot or other object from getting under the wheel, preventing injuries and minimising the risk of a wheel being damaged by foreign bodies. It also reduces the risk that a transport trolley could be brought to an abrupt halt by running over something. Castors with spring-type foot protection are beneficial when travelling over thresholds and when there are noticeable height differences in floor surfaces.
