Transverse-Fastening Set 8 with Clamp Lever, left from item connects two Line 8 profiles at a 90° angle to each other to create a connection that is highly resistant to displacement, traction and torsion. For rapid installation, the Transverse Fastener is screwed to the profile groove using the two clamp levers – no machining required – to create a doubly torsion-resistant connection. The “right” and “left” versions give you the option to choose which profile grooves to use.

Transverse Fasteners 8 from item make it easier to precisely align profiles that cross each other. The screws or clamp levers can be loosened separately, allowing you to align one profile while leaving the other firmly connected. The fasteners keep the two profiles apart so they don’t come into contact with each other while being adjusted and therefore won’t get scratched. Transverse Fasteners 8 are available in mirror-image “right” and “left” designs. Starting from a horizontal profile, the fastening arm that is fixed to the crossing profile is located on either the right or left side. Thanks to this mirror-image geometry, two Transverse Fasteners 8 can be installed next to each other on a Profile 8 40x40 to further increase load-carrying capacity.

Transverse-Fastening Sets 8 are ideal for applications where adjustments need to be made on a frequent basis, for instance when bespoke end-of-arm tooling is being used with workpieces that are changed often.

Transverse Fastening Sets are also available with screws and clamp levers. Clamp levers provide a particularly fast and tool-free means of adjusting struts in frames.
