Radius Seal 6 30×30 1R, grey similar to RAL 7042

Radius Seals 1R are special caps that seal the end face of the profile in order to prevent dirt penetrating into the profile cavities. They are therefore perfect for applications in cleanroom environments. Radius Seals 1R are used when two adjacent profiles at 90° to each other are fastened to the flanks of a third at the same height. This is a particularly useful solution for the corners of frame constructions. Important: Using the Radius Seal with Standard, Universal and Automatic Fasteners the power-look connection is effected by an interlying plastic element which reduces the load that the connnection will bear. It is advisable to use an additional safety factor of 2 at the design stage.

Where a radius seal is already fitted to a perpendicular connection, a Radius Seal 1R should be used.

In calculating the length of the cross profiles between two profiles, the thickness of the Radius Seals on each side must be taken into account.
