Guide Rail 6 36x26-47 uses the groove in the base of R-KLT small load carriers, as outlined in Recommendation 4500 of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), to securely guide these containers. The Guide Rail can be used instead of a railing, either separately to, or in conjunction with, a roller conveyor. This container guidance system is fitted to a frame using Roller Conveyor St Fastening Brackets D30 (0.0.642.47). Thanks to the two installation heights for the Guide Rails, it is possible to create different clearances between the roller conveyor and container. Sensors and other accessories can be fastened to the Line 6 groove. Cap 36x26-47 ESD (0.0.719.33) makes it easier to feed in the R-KLT small load carriers.
When using Guide Rail 6 36x26-47, roller conveyors don’t require any side guidance. This means that a system can be used for R-KLT small load carriers in various widths without having to convert the frame. For example, a roller conveyor carpet with appropriately positioned Guide Rails can be used to move two 300-mm-wide R-KLT containers or one 600-mm-wide R-KLT container along the same track.
Guide Rail 6 36x26-47 can be installed in Roller Conveyor St Fastening Bracket D30 (0.0.642.47) at two different heights. When installed at the lower height, R-KLT containers that have a groove in their stepped base will be guided at the side, with their base resting on a roller conveyor. When installed at the higher height, R-KLT containers will rest on the Guide Rail and not make contact with the roller conveyor. In this arrangement, containers are held securely in place for picking operations, after which they can be pushed from this static position onto a roller conveyor.
