Friction Joint 8 E is an economical solution for building custom pivot arms and other articulated profile constructions. The rotating joint connects together two Profiles 8 40x40. As its friction force can be precisely metered, the angle between the profiles can be adjusted accurately while ensuring the connection remains secure. This makes it easy to design ergonomic adjustment mechanisms and pivot arms for tool stowage and setting down small parts at the work bench.
Pivot arms with friction joints 8 E enable ergonomically optimised and intuitively adjustable positioning. By shortening the required gripping distances, the process speed is directly increased and overall efficiency is improved.
