Impact Buffer D15x15 M4x12 acts as a catch and also helps minimise the risk of fingers becoming jammed in sliding doors. It is positioned so that, when a door is opened, adjacent segments follow the segment being moved. It also serves to prevent fingers from getting jammed and can be used as a generic impact-absorbing mechanical stop. It is installed using a grub screw.
