Heavy-duty castor for high loads Castor D125 swivel with double-brake N heavy duty is a further addition to the range of heavy-duty castors (see New Products 09/2004). As with the other castors in this series, the maximum permissible load is 4500 N per castor. All technical features are of a suitably robust design. Easy-to-apply lock on the trailing side Unlike Castor D125 swivel with double-brake heavy duty, the new N version allows the lock to be actuated from the trailing side. The combination of two Castors D125 swivel with double-brake and two Castors D125 swivel with double-brake N thus enables a heavy structure on swivel castors to be locked at all four castors, since the locks can always be reached easily. This prevents the structure from being moved or rolling away. As with all other castors in the series, Castor Adapter Plates (New Products 09/2004) are recommended for securing Castor D125 swivel with double-brake N heavy duty to profile structures. The many screw-on options this Castor allows ensure that forces are directed effectively into the profile frame. The sets contain all fastening elements for securing the Castors and Castor Adapter Plates to the relevant profile grooves.
The specified carrying capacity is maximum value under ideal operating conditions, at walking speed (max. 4 km/h) and over smooth and flat surfaces. If the floor is uneven and weight badly distributed, the load per castor should be calculated in accordance with the following formula:
Carrying capacity 450 kg/castor
