It’s an open-and-shut case! Hinge 8 N/NO Al PP4 light has been optimised for Line 8 profiles with closed grooves. It has a shorter anti-torsion feature compared to Hinge 8 Al PP4, light duty and helps create easy-to-clean doors and hatches while ensuring as little profile groove as possible has to be opened up. The Hinge covers the necessary opening completely. This strong aluminium Hinge is compatible with any Line 8 profile, whether it has open or closed grooves. When fitted between a door and the frame, there is a narrow gap of 4 mm. When the door is closed, the fastening screws are covered over and inaccessible, ensuring they cannot be tampered with from the outside. Hinge 8 N/NO Al PP4 light comes as a complete set with fastening materials. It can accommodate loads of up to 500 N.
Hinges Al, light duty are available as complete sets for all popular combinations of profiles and for combinations of profiles and panel elements. Each of the sets consists of 2 Hinge Leaves and the Hinge Pin and the fastening elements (screws and T-Slot Nuts) for the relevant profile lines. The Hinge Pin is supplied with the relevant hinges. It is pressed into one of the Hinge Leaves. Right-hand or left-hand hinges are possible by inserting the pin into the Hinge Leaf in the appropriate direction.
Lift-off doors must be fitted with the same types of hinges. Fixed doors must be fitted with at least one right-hand and one left-hand hinge. Arrangement of one right-hand hinge and one left-hand hinge for constructing a door that cannot be lifted off.
Recommended groove opening for fastening Hinge 8 N/NO Al PP4 light: The nominal distance from the end of the profile should be 33 mm to ensure the opening is completely concealed. The opening width for a slot along the length of the profile is 26 mm.
