Double Profile Tube 8 D30-32.5 consists of a Profile Tube D30 and a Profile 8 D30 that are joined by a continuous aluminium web to create a high-strength double profile. This rigid double profile allows you to create wider spans between two vertical profiles while keeping deflection lower than when using two Profile Tubes that aren’t joined together. It also doesn’t take up any additional installation space in terms of depth. The Double Profile Tube has one Line 8 groove and four profile flanks from the Lean Production Building Kit System. This makes it easier to construct hybrid applications with elements from both product lines.

Double Profile Tube 8 D30-32.5 is suitable for use as a horizontal beam in racks. It can be installed with either the Line 8 groove or the D30 profile contour facing out. This means you can utilise the entire accessories portfolio of both product lines and everything from cable conduits to magnetic holders. For example, Label Profile D30 e (0.0.690.26) can be attached to the profile flank so that roller conveyors or storage places can be clearly identified. To ensure excellent readability, Fastening Profile D30 0-20° e ESD (0.0.691.79) ensures that labels are displayed at an angle of up to 20°.

The Line 8 groove of the double profile means that LED Strips or sensors can be installed where needed on a frame made of Profile Tubes D30, without having to fit adapters.

Depending on how the Double Profile Tubes are oriented in your frame, you will have to use either Fastener D30 T1 (0.0.687.84) or Fastener D30 T2 (0.0.728.51). On Fastener D30 T1, the notch for the connecting web is located between the two halves of the fastener, while the notch on Fastener D30 T2 is located in one of the fastener halves. When the web is parallel to the Profile Tube D30 to which the double profile is being fastened, use Fastener D30 T1. When the web is at a right angle to the Profile Tube D30, use Fastener D30 T2.
