Pin Element 10

Making stable profile connections even stronger! The Pin Element can be used to provide additional support for Standard, Universal and Automatic Fasteners. Recommendation: Always use Pin Elements if impacts are likely.

The Pin Element is inserted into the profile groove and, once the Standard, Universal or Automatic Fastener has been fitted, a 7.9 mm diameter bore is drilled into the profile through the Pin Element to accommodate the dowel pin. The dowel pin is then pushed up to the side of the profile, where it fixes into place. With each Pin Element that is added, the fastening’s resistance to movement increases, up to a maximum of 4,000 N.
