GST18-5 Connector is a 5-pin female connector with neutral and protective earth conductors. The female connector can be used, for example, to control an LED light fitting with a GST18-5 male connector and connect it to the power grid. The screw fixing with integrated strain relief for the cable ensures installation can be carried out quickly and securely. In the GST18-5 system, the male and female connectors are automatically joined in the correct orientation.
The GST18-5 system can be used to link a power supply and operating element to several devices via a cascading connection. To create a parallel connection between all the LED light fittings in a ceiling, connect the power cable and pushbutton to a GST18-5 Connector (0.0.732.14). Use GST18-5 Extension Cable, Socket/Plug, 3m (0.0.732.24) and GST18-5 T-Splitter (0.0.732.16) to supply power to the first LED unit and to the device connection of the next light fitting. Up to 30 Drop-In Light Fittings LED 1200x300 (0.0.716.96) can be switched in parallel.
