Shaft-Clamp Profile 8 D6 is used for securing Shaft D6 to the groove of a Line 8 Profile. After pressing the Shaft-Clamp Profile into the profile groove, the Shaft is then pressed in. Shafts D6 must be fixed in position at the chosen location using a dowel DIN 6325, one per length of shaft. Shaft-Clamp Profiles must not be used on profile grooves of types "light" and "E", because sufficient clamping will not be achieved.
