A smart solution for safe stability! Stand Foot Set 8 St 160x160 combines optimum protection with a compact design and is ideal for use with freestanding enclosures and guards. It enables a cost-effective and robust floor fixing while also supporting a range of safety concepts. Profiles 8 80x40 or Profiles 8 40x40 are used as the stand profiles, or posts, for protective enclosures and guards. These profiles are fastened to the stand foot by screwing the fixings supplied in the Stand Foot Set into the grooves of the profiles. Two Screw Anchors ST 10x110, bright zinc-plated (0.0.688.05) are the ideal fixings for anchoring the entire construction to the floor. The lower fixings of the Stand Foot Set can be installed in two different ways. While driving them through the drilled holes creates a rigid, mechanically locked connection, using the slot instead ensures the upright posts of the guard can be easily aligned. When located in the slot, the screw fixings can help to cushion an impact by dynamically absorbing the force by means of friction resistance. Major collisions also leave clearly visible evidence. As a result, the enclosure or guard is more likely to be checked for damage, repaired with spare parts and then restored to full working order. Thanks to its bright zinc-plated surface, the product can also be used with ESD-safe enclosures and guards.
* Threaded bore (1) and screw (2) not included in the scope of supply. If required, height adjustment can be achieved using a DIN EN ISO 4017-M8x22 hexagon screw fitted into an M8x35 mm thread that has been tapped into a core bore at the end face of the stand profile. This screw also supports the profile with regard to slant compensation. It is not included in the scope of supply.
