Stanchion Base Socket The Stanchion Base Socket connects guard-rail stanchions to the stringer on a stairway or Frame Profile 8 120x40 light. Thanks to its design, it can be used to fasten stanchions to stairways in any pitch. It ensures optimum transfer of moment from the stanchion to the platform or stringer. This prevents any discernible profile deflection in the stanchion, which improves the stability of the guard-rail. The Stanchion Base Socket also acts as a fastening element for a foot rail made using Profile 8 120x16 E.
