Release Unit 6 Latch is used for extra security when transferring materials with the item Suspended Conveyor System. The latch is fitted to the side of the housing on Release Unit 6, Carriage D37-32 (0.0.723.66) or Separator 6, Carriage D37-32 (0.0.724.75). It prevents the release unit or separator from being actuated until the latch is released. The latch can be disengaged via a Bowden cable or actuator roller. The reset spring automatically re-engages the latch.
When transferring materials automatically with a shooter, Release Unit 6 Latch makes the whole process even more reliable. The latch ensures that the track of the item Suspended Conveyor System can be controlled with perfect precision because two conditions need to be met before carriages are released. Operating the latch via a Bowden cable provides a manual means of releasing carriages once a mobile solution and rack are correctly positioned. Using a Roller D39.5-25 (0.0.673.55) enables the automatic mechanical disengagement of the latch as soon as the shooter is correctly lined up. The system will not fail even if the latch is unintentionally actuated because the release unit or separator is only triggered when it is activated separately.
